Since we were in the vicinity, we decided to explore ten mile junction for dining options. Sheng Siong steamboat is one of the stalls located in a 'coffeeshop' near the anchor Sheng Siong Supermarket. There was a healthy crowd and most were having the steamboat so we gave it a try.
Pomfret Steamboat (S$15.00 / US$10.60)
Crispy Prawn Roll (S$10.00 / US$7.10)
Whole prawn wrapped in beancurd skin with strips of carrot. Served with pickled vegetables (cucumber, carrots and pineapple) and thai chili dipping. The prawn rolls are not crispy enough though.

Pomfret Steamboat (S$15.00 / US$10.60)Small-sized steamboat meant for 2-3 pax. Other sizes at $25 and $35. The other choices of steamboat includes red grouper, seafood, sliced fish and fried fish. Milky fish soup base with slices of pomfret, beancurd, yam, tomato and leafy vegetables. Good thing is they have free refill of soup, so we can drink to our hearts' content.
