Heard of this ice cream cafe for quite some time and itching to go and have a try, after all, it's time we blog about some ice cream....
Junior Scoop (S$2.00 / US$1.45)
Dec had 2 servings of Mango Magic. Their promise of " mango ice cream that’s outta-this-world!" did not disappoint. Rich in mango flavour with some real fruit in it, so good that Dec requested for second helping.
Single Scoop(S$3.00 / US$2.20)
We ordered 3 single scoop ice cream: Baily's Choc-Chip, Hazelnut Heaven (not in the photo), Cha- Earl Grey.
Excerpts from their website: "Bailey's® Choc Chip - a light coffee ice cream with a strong dose of Bailey's® Irish Cream, cha – savour the flavour in this earl grey tea sherbet, Hazelnut Haven - a must-have for Nutella© fans. Mmmm…" All 3 flavours taste great, but cha's taste is more to the subtle side so with other strong tasting flavours, it does not really stand out among the crowd.
Special Set (S$5.50 / US$4.00)
Consists of either one waffle or brownie with a single scoop ice cream. We chose waffle with a single scoop of Salty Mister Brown. The description from their website introduce Salty Mister Brown as "a rollercoster flavour ride with this sweet-salty-chocolatey concoction". It comes as a surprise; we never thought ice cream that is saltish can taste so good, so good that it comes up joint top with Mango Magic as our favourites of the day.
